Geckoes is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Tine Mortier & René Flores. We both have backgrounds in education and tourism and extensive international traveling experience. The Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica is a real piece of heaven. Here we have found everything we could wish for; spectacular nature, beautiful beaches, a warm sea and a fantastic climate. In stead of high-rise buildings and big developments, you will find plenty of individually owned restaurants and businesses with a great mix of nationalities. We are very committed to sustainable development and eco-friendly practices. Our houses have been designed to fit the landscape rather than vice versa, and we try to do our bit for the environment wherever we can. Geckoes Lodge is located on a hill in Cocles, at the verge of the stunning rainforest. All of our 4 spacious and very private accommodations offer you spectacular views of our lush jungle gardens. We have a standard bungalow with lovely garden views, a 'glamping' house with yoga deck and 2 luxury villas with their own private plunge pool. At Geckoes Lodge, you can get a meet and greet with sloths, toucans, howler monkeys, hummingbirds and lots of other wildlife. Together, we do our utmost best to realize your perfect holiday with friends or family. Get your free snorkeling gear to explore the coral reefs from white sandy beaches, or ask us to book you a horseback trip through the rainforest.
