At Los Mineros Guesthouse you can get away from it all and relax in a simple cozy jungle setting, surrounded by jungle, rivers and hikes or take a tour with your guide Channy. We offer tours to Corcovado Park,Sirena,Matapalo,night tour and gold tour. Los Mineros Guesthouse offers rooms with private bathroom or shared bathroom, it has a guest kitchen with a small fridge, a stove, pots and plates and is surrounded by jungle gardens. Relax in a hammock and observe all the different humming birds flying by, toucans etc Or stay at our simple but amazing Little Pool House, ( three day minimum stay) paradise in the jungle with your own pool ! A cabin with a king bed and terrace, its own bathroom, a kitchen space and your own private pool. Relax in the pool and watch the squirrel monkeys jumping from tree to tree. The guest house also provides free WiFi and free private parking. Our certified tourist guide, Channy is available for tours In Corcovado Park, Matapalo, Night Tour ,Gold Tour, La Leona day tour and off course Sirena Park Tour. Tours: Channy , our certified guide can take you any tour. We offer : the Corcovado Park tour-5-6 hrs hike in the jungle ,primary rain forest, enormous trees Matapalo tour, day tour , hike in the jungle and rivers,watefalls,natural pools, beach and many animals : sloths, all four monkey types, toucans, lapas , frogs, ant eater. Night tour, 2hrs to see snakes, caimans, tree frogs, glass frogs, bull frogs. Gold tour you go to the river pan just like a goldminer ! Overnight tour in Piedras Blanca 1 st day 5 hrs hike - 2nd day to Carate 5hrs hike through rivers , jungle , sleep in hammocks in a small gold mining settlement, bordering Corcovado National parc,guide , hike , food and longings included. La Leona tour : drive the scenic road to Carate, then hike for 5-6 hrs through the park, seeing monkeys , tapir , wild cats etc. Sirena: go with a boat from Puerto Jimenez to Sirena, then hike the park to see the tapir, sloth etc.

Neighbourhood information

Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre is a small village,bordering the Corcovado Park entrance,it used to be a gold mining village and is now slowly becoming an eco tourist destination, off the beaten track.A natural paradise and one of the best places for birdwatching you can walk around town spotting up to 250 different bird species, three rivers to explore with natural pools or hike the park and the surrounding jungle. Nature lovers paradise. This a small village, it has a new park opening and is slowly growing to become a tourist destination. It used to be a gold mining town and our place was the famous ( or infamous ) gold miners bar,brothel and jail....the cabinas with private bathrooms are in,what used to be the brothel and the bathroom for the huts are in the ex jail. Right now Dos Brazos Del Rio Tigre it is still of the beaten track. It is one of the best places for birdwatching, jungle/ river walks, swimming... within an hours drive you can go surfing, kayaking, whale watching, zip lining.. We are a twenty-minute drive from Puerto Jimenez. Puerto Jimenez is a beach town that has a hospital, grocery store, hardware store, fruit/veg shop, butcher , restaurants, two banks...
