The Retreat Centre offers comfortable accommodation in a serene setting with stunning views across the Pitsilia region and down towards the coast. Experience a relaxed Cypriot village atmosphere, where timeless traditions are respected and nurtured. Open year-round, we offer a peaceful environment for those who seek a place to rejuvenate, cleanse and grow. During your stay, visit the local Commanderia museum and a vineyard where grapes are grown and harvested in the traditional manner. Hike through beautiful forests and mountainous terrain or take a trip down to the nearby coast and the city of Limassol. Food options: We offer a fully equipped kitchen with the option of self-catering or, upon request, we will cater to your specific meal requirements.
Zoopigi is a small village situated on the foothills of the Troödos mountains, approximately 24 km north of Limassol. The original name, Zoodochos Pigi, later shortened to Zoopigi, means ‘life-giving spring’. At 885m above sea level, the village provides panoramic views across the Pitsilia area. The villagers produce their own wine and traditional delicacies made from the juice of grapes. Zoopigi is one of the twelve remaining villages in Cyprus that continue the ancient Commanderia-making tradition and it is home to the Museum of the History of Commandaria where you can experience this age-old process up close. Things to do in the surrounding area: Walking Trails, Commanderia Museum, Byzantine Church, City of Limassol and beaches only 40 minutes away
