Sensitively restored art nouveau villa is located in the village of Brtníky (German Zeidler), on the edge of the Czech-Saxon Switzerland National Park, in large garden with a stream and grown-up trees. It was built in 1913 by sophisticated industrial family of Mr. Klinger for his sister. Brtníky still offers many opportunities how to spend active holidays. It is up to you whether you choose hiking or just lie down with a book in the garden. You can get there comfortable by car in less then 2 hour drive from Prague. This holiday home has two floors. First floor offers a hall, large dining room, living room with winter garden, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, stove, fridge) with dining table. Upstairs are found 3 bedrooms, one of them a suite-type bedroom (40 sqm), and 2 regular size bedrooms. Spacious, modern bathroom offers walk-in shower, 2 sinks.
Brtniky is suitably situated near tourist routes (hiking, biking), close to German borders. If you prefer swimming, you can visit nearby spa resort in Rumburk (8 km), aquaparks in Germany: Neustadt (25 km), Kirschau (15 km) or thermals in Bad Schandau (25 km). The nearest towns are Rumburk and Krásna Lípa (8 km), with a variety of shopping options, medical facilities and historical sights. A baroque-style Loreta in Rumburk is worth visiting. Just around the house, you can start enjoying hiking in the countryside covered with beautiful forests, valleys and gorges with sandstone cliffs, or bike trips. Find a pleasant walk to the Calvary in Brtníky, to the ruins of the castle Brtnický Hrádek or Šternberk. Romantic lookout places are found on hills Vlčí hora, Ptačí vrch, Plešný, Hrazený, or trails around Vlčí or Kyjov, as well as Brtníky stream´ or Bílý stream´ valley.
