Raiten (part of Schleching) is centrally located in the beautiful Achental. The numerous recreational and excursion possibilities in the surrounding nature invite you to linger. Our well-equipped vacation apartment leaves nothing to be desired for both adults and children, accommodating 4 adults and one toddler. Like the surroundings, our accommodation is well-suited for both winter and summer sports enthusiasts. In our 100 m² apartment, the central hub is the shared dining and living area. It features a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table, a cozy couch area with a television (Amazon Fire TV Stick, PS4), and two additional single beds (200 x 80 cm) crafted by a carpenter, along with a baby crib (120 x 60 cm). In the bedroom, there is a carpenter-made double bed (200 x 160 cm). Our modern bathroom can be accessed from both the bedroom and living area, and it includes a large bathtub, a separate shower, toilet, and sink. In every room, you'll find a clay plaster wall, contributing to a healthy room climate alongside the underfloor heating. On the small barbecue terrace, you can enjoy the evening sun and conclude the day with a glass of wine.

Deep in the Chiemgau Alps, south of Lake Chiemsee (approximately 15 km away), is the village of Schleching. This mountaineering village is situated amidst a picturesque pre-alpine landscape featuring green meadows, forested pre-alpine peaks and the distinctive rugged peaks of the northern limestone Alps. Due to its rich biodiversity, the nature reserve around the Geigelstein mountain is considered a particularly valuable mountainous region in the Bavarian Alps. The Geigelstein, the Entenlochklamm, numerous mountain restaurants and the Tiroler Ache river are the most well-known attractions in the area. The Kampenwand mountain and the nearby village of Kössen (Tirol) also invite visitors for day trips. In winter, the cross-country ski trails in Reit im Winkel, as well as the ski regions of Kössen and Seegatterl (Steinplatte), offer a wide range of activities. Swimming, hiking, cycling, and rafting are just a few of the many recreational activities available in the summer.
