Holidays at Rennsteig! Enjoy pure nature - just let your mind wander! Our family-run holiday village in a place called Hundsrück up to 480metres above sea level welcomes you and offers peace and relaxation in the green heart of Germany. Look forward to eventful days in the Thuringian Forest! Due to its location, our holiday village offers the best conditions for excursions in the area. Whether hiking, cycling, climbing or on skis - everyone gets their money's worth here. Our holiday village is located on the outskirts of the large community Floh-Seligenthal, with east-south and west orientation, including panoramic view. The bungalows are embedded in nature, surrounded by rushing fir trees and a well-kept outdoor area. The terraced arrangement of the buildings has created a special atmosphere with maximum privacy for our guests. Nature lovers will feel comfortable here and can leave everyday life behind.

Neighbourhood information

In the vicinity there are numerous excursions with interesting sights. We already like to introduce some of them: Schmalkalden The romantic half-timbered town invites you to shop and linger and is only about 10 minutes away by car. Especially worth seeing is the castle Wilhelmsburg with a magnificent view over the city, as well as the visitor mine Finstertal and the sweet Viba Nougat world. Inselsberg (Brotterode) Here there is the summer toboggan run on the island mountain, as well as a flyer in the Funpark HIE. In addition, Brotterode has the Inselbergbad an adventure. In winter, there is a wide range of trails for cross-country skiing and a small ski downhill alpine slope. You can also reach Brotterode in less than 10 minutes by car. Trusetal The small former mining village offers as a landmark and sight the 58 m high waterfall. Right next to it is the dwarf park. This is one of the few stations of the German Toy Street. A MUST for small and big! A popular excursion destination is also the tower of the castle ruin Wallenburg.
