It is 3.5 km to Eppenschlag, 5 km to Spiegelau and 10 km to Grafenau. In Spiegelau you will find several large food markets and one of the largest forest playgrounds managed by the Bavarian Forest National Park. You can reach the "Erlenberg" ski lift in about 20 minutes, the large ski region around the Kleiner and Großer Arber in about 30 minutes. Hiking trails on the Daxberg can be found directly at the house. In about 800 meters you will find the well-known Landgasthof zum Fürstn with typical Bavarian cuisine and other regional delicacies. Outside is our large garden with garden furniture and for our little guests, a sandbox and a swing, right next to the forest.
