We (Natalie from Germany and Eduardo from Ecuador) live on the property as well and are happy to give you recommendations about activities. We are musicians and always enthusiastic to share music with other musicians and guests. We speak Spanish, English, German and French.

Property information

Our Casa de Hacienda is ideal for couples and families (cottage) and single persons (single room) who want to breath fresh country air far from the city noise. The cottage is independent and has a chimney and a private bathroom with hot water (and good water pressure!). The single room has a bathroom with a good shower, too. Both are part of the Casa de Hacienda, a property with many green spaces and a breathtaking view onto the volcanoes Imbabura and Cotacachi. You are free to use our shared kitchen and a common room. Breakfast is included. There is WiFi, a washing mashine and a dryer. The cottage has two beds. If children can sleep in the same bed as their parents, it is possible without additional charge.

Neighbourhood information

The Casa de Hacienda Quinchuquí is located between Peguche and Ilumán. The area is quiet despite being only 5 min away from Otavalo. We have a wonderful view onto the volcanoes Imbabura and Cotacachi and onto the lights of Otavalo in the distance. From here, you can take walks over the fields or to the waterfall of Peguche. On our closed courtyard there is a lot of space to park vehicles. The bus passes by the door and every five minutes on the Panamericana which is 300m away. From there, you can easily go to Otavalo, Atuntaqui and Ibarra.
