A unique experience in a Geodesic Dome situated at an altitude of 1000 mtrs on the outskirts of the Sierra Nevada National Park in Aguas Blancas. Popular nearby attractions , Alhambra Palace 15 min drive. Sierra Nevada Ski Resort 30 min drive door to door. Granada City Centre with its historical architecture, museums and markets is appx 20 min drive . Our Dome offers Peace and tranquility with outstanding views ,an ideal place to retreat and unwind. A popular area for walkers, cyclists and skiers.
We love to meet people from all over the world. We are a couple (Carmen & Pablo) plus our four-legged family member, Tilo (who will bark when you arrive but soon want tummy rubs). The area is suited to many activities such as skiing, canoeing, walking, and is very famous for its cycling routes. Night sky watching is a favorite pastime due to the abundance of clear night skies, the dome has a clear roof in the winter so you can watch the stars from your own bed.
So much to say, so much in the local area, from Granada City with its ancient markets and famous Morrocan market (which is 20 mins away) to the world famous Alhambra Palace which is just 15 mins away (early booking online is a must) The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are just 30 mins away, however during ski season the road up the mountain gets vey busy and we suggest skiing Monday to Friday is best to avoid the weekend rush. So many local restaraunts in the ares to cater for all tastes. Beautifully photographic area with an abundance of wildlife to see including large eagles.
