Our house in San Jordi Castellon ( Sant Jorge) is a beautifully restored 14th Century stone house right in the centre of the historic village of San Jordi. The house has three double bedrooms plus two lounges both with sofa beds and will comfortably sleep 6 to 8 guests. The house which has been recently restored has three separate bathrooms, air conditioning/ heating, a large kitchen / diner with access to both the Calle Mayor ( Main Street) and Calle Meson. The house is 2 minutes from the Plaza Mayor (the Main Square) boasting a recently opened gourmet restaurant offering breakfasts, lunches and dinners . The house has a certain magic and tranquillity about it with the convenience of all modern services. We look forward to welcoming you!
We love for people to share in our passion for Castellon, it has a special charm and so much to be discovered!
San Jordi enjoys several other restaurants and bars, a bakery with delicious fresh bread in the mornings, a general store (open since 1921!) butchers, a bank and a pharmacy. Vinaros is 11 kilometres, about 10 minutes away by car , with supermarkets and shopping and of course wide sandy beaches for swimming. There are bus services to town. San Jordi and its countryside are agricultural with oranges and olive groves being the main crop but growing wild are figs, pomegranates and other fruits. The countryside is peaceful and beautiful and perfect for long walks or short strolls. There are lakes and mountains nearby and the historic castle town of Morella an hour away. The house has a certain magic and tranquillity about it with the convenience of all modern services. We look forward to welcoming you!
