Lähialueella sijaitsee Suomen paras laskettelukeskus, Ylläs. Lähimmälle hissille tulee matkaa vain 5,5 km, josta on pääsy kaikille 63 rinteelle. Myös Ylläksen hyvinhoidetulle ( yli 300 km) latuverkostolle pääsee suoraan pihasta. Ylläksen 719 m korkeudessa olevalle huipulle pääsee myös ilman suksia Ylläsjärven puolelta gondolihissillä ja kesäisin siellä on toiminnassa Ylläs Bike Park, alamäkipyöräilyn keskus.
Pallas-Yllästunturin kansallispuistoon johtaville patikka- ja pyöräilyreiteille pääsee lähtemään myös majoituspaikan pihasta ja Pallas-Yllästunturin Kansallispuiston luontokeskus Kellokkaaseen on matkaa vain reilut 4 km.
