This traditional and cozy Faroese house, originally constructed in 1896, has, even though it's totally renovated, stayed faithful to the original design. The house features a traditional turf roof and the body of the house still features the same wood/oak which was placed in 1896, giving the house a real warmth. The view is extraordinary, featuring Nólsoy and the harbor of Tórshavn. The renovations of the house give it a modern touch without taking away from the original design.

I am married to Mikkjal and we have been married for over 20 years. :D We have three wonderful boys, whom we spend a lot of time with. Family is very important to us. We like doing things together, go hiking, do sports, play games, watch a good movie, eat good food etc. I work as a school teacher. I teach children aged 9 - 13. I like teaching and also helping children in their struggles in life. I work a lot with anti-bullying. My husband is a football coach in the best league in the Faroes. The city of Tórshavn is seen as one of the most attractive European capitals. It features beautiful landscapes, a rich culture and charming harbours. The city, even though it's modern, still features many of the aspects which it did a few hundred years ago, this is a very special thing in today's modern world. The house is located right by the city center, which makes it within short walking distance of various popular locations. It's a five minute walk from the house to Vágsbotn, which is the beautiful harbor, featuring many lovely resturants and cafes. A 3 minute walk will bring you to Tórshavns beach, Sandagerð, which is a popular location for the people of Tórshavn. The city features free public transportation in the form of city busses, which will make it very easy to get around. There is a small minimarket right across the road.
