In the Val d'Azun, at 1,200 meters above sea level and 3 kilometers from the village, a few steps from the GR10, in the heart of a wild and peaceful nature, where pastoral traditions perpetuate an authentic and preserved landscape, the Pic de Pan offers accommodation classified 3 stars by the Tourist Office, and having obtained the Esprit Park brand. Activities: mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, rafting, horse riding, cani-rando. The fun baths of Argelès-Gazost are 15 kms away. Snowshoeing, dog sledding, downhill or downhill skiing nearby in winter. You can also have lunch / dinner in our inn where the cuisine offers many local flavors. THE MARKETS : At Arrens-Marsous: every Sunday morning, in July and August. Farmers market on Wednesday afternoon. In Argelès-Gazost: every Tuesday morning. Farmer's Market on Saturday morning
After a long reflection on a professional reconversion, my husband and I left our respective professions to settle in the region since June 2018. We opened the inn and the first cottage in July of the same year. Having started my professional career in the hotel industry and my husband always had the taste of cooking, we decided to join our skills to make you discover this magical place where different sports, cultural or relaxation activities are proposed. We look forward to welcoming you simply but warmly, so that your stay is as pleasant as possible, and that you spend an unforgettable stay in these mountains where reigns serenity. As for the inn, we offer a simple and seasonal cuisine, made from products from the producers of the valley, and a maximum in organic. We welcome you in this old sheepfold converted into an inn, either in a warm interior, near the wood stove when the mountains are covered with snow, or on the shaded terrace in summer, with a breathtaking view of Gabizos and the Pic du Midi d 'Arrens.
We are located at the entrance to the Pyrenees National Park, 3 hours drive from BORDEAUX, 2h30 from TOULOUSE, and one hour flight from PARIS Must-sees: Cirque de Gavarnie, Pont d'Espagne, Cauterets, Le Vignemale, Bagnères de Bigorre, Lourdes, etc. The lakes of Estaing and Tech, the Aubisque and Soulor passes, as well as the Couraduque cross-country ski resort are less than 10kms. The village of Arras en Lavedan is located 20 minutes from the cottages And the small terraced town of Argelès-Gazost with all its shops and its zoo is also about 25 minutes from the cottages
