After 17 years of diligent renovations, Graziella and Mark Rhodes are proud to present to you Le Colombier. We were both born in Alexandria, Virginia and have renovated my (Graziella's) ancestoral home to make it what it is today. We pride ourselves on making your stay with us enjoyable and enriching. Located on a hillside on the outskirts of the village of Larroque appears a stone hamlet - a large home in the same family for more than 300 years. With its captivating panoramic views of the Vère Valley and Grésigne Forest, this large noble stone house proudly bares antiquated beams, and massive window and door stones while providing a calm, comfortable, rustic and elegant environment. “Le Colombier” is situated on 35 acres and allows you to experience the spectacular views of the Grésigne Forest, the largest oak forest in France, from the property. Quiet walks, hikes, excursions… the GR46 hiking trail and other routes offer you thousands of adventures and discoveries. Le Colombier is an authentic country home recently renovated in character, poised in the middle of the property with it’s own walking trail around the perimeter, several natural water sources, an old stone oven for baking bread, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, shady woods, picnic and game areas, animals in their natural surroundings, and above all, a breathtakingly peaceful view. The house has all of today’s comforts while decorated with authentic items from yesteryears. Natural products are used extensively.
