Leaning against the slopes of the Petit Hohneck, in the middle of the ski slopes of the Gaschney resort, the Schallern is a unique place in Alsace, situated at an altitude of 1107 meters. Please note: access is only possible on foot via a mountain path (15-25 minute walk depending on the weather), so don't hesitate to bring your rucksack rather than your wheeled suitcase! You can also get there by mountain bike in summer, or on snowshoes or skis in winter. Our guest rooms and restaurant are open from Friday to Sunday outside school vacations, and all week during school vacations.
