Betty's Loft Our Tourism Northern Ireland certified self-catering accommodation is a spacious, open plan area situated in the beautiful countryside of County Down. The loft is close to Lisburn, Ballynahinch and Hillsborough overlooking the Dromara Hills, providing a very peaceful stay. With Belfast only 10 miles away, it is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the countryside, with only a short 15-minute car journey to the capital city. The space Ensuite is well equipped with a spacious shower and vanity unit. Towels, toiletries and a hair dryer are provided. The kitchen and living area includes a fridge/freezer, sink, toaster, kettle, microwave oven, countertop electric hob and coffee machine. We will leave a few essentials so you can prepare a light breakfast on the first morning. Betty's Loft is primarily suitable for two guests, the spacious bedroom area includes one double bed. A large, luxury airbed as well as a travel cot can be provided on request. to accommodate up to 4 guests. All bedding is provided. Betty's loft is situated up a flight of stairs, no lift is available.
We really look forward to meeting our guests and making them comfortable. We are situated in the main house if help or assistance is required, otherwise we will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay in 'Betty's Loft' Lockbox available for 24hr check in. Guests have their own private entrance and door key to come and go as you please.
Betty’s Loft is an excellent base from which to explore Belfast and County Down. The historic village of Hillsborough is within a 10 minute drive with its world famous oyster festival and excellent range of high quality restaurants. The spectacular Mourne Mountains are thirty minutes drive and Belfast is easily accessible by car. We are a rural location so a car is essential to enjoy all of the fantastic opportunities nearby. Northern Ireland is a small country with all major tourist attractions and towns within a 90minute – 2 hour drive. Betty's loft is particularly suitable for Wedding guests with Larchfield Estate a 5 minute drive and Montalto Estate within 10minutes.
