Black Burn Lodge is a newly constructed eco-friendly dwelling with 3 en-suite letting rooms and guest lounge with spectacular views of the Liddel Water and the rural landscape of the Scottish Borders. All rooms are provided with tea and coffee making facilities, TV , dressing gowns and luxury toiletries. Comfortable king size beds with duvets and extra pillows. The Scott Room is located at the house front door with level acces for those who are less mobile. The Armstrong and Elliot Rooms are found at the lowest level overlooking the garden with a private entrance into the Guest Longe and bedrooms. Breakfast is served in the highly acclaimed 'The Olive Tree' cafe in the centre of the village a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to hone the appetite. We are located at the Northern edge of the village of Newcastleton, a 5 minute walk to the local amenities of the village, shops pubs and eateries. Also a garage and self serve fuel station. The area is steeped in the history of the Borders dark past, with the family feuds of the Border Reivers at the forefront, Newcastleton is the seat of the Elliot clan with the Armstrong and Scott clans not far away. Kielder Water Forest Park is a short drive away and offers a wide variety of leisure activities ,cycling walking sailing fishing. Kielder Observatory offers fantastic views of the universe enjoying the darkest skies in Europe.

Black Burn Lodge is situated in a quiet rural setting overlooking the river Liddel and surrounded by gardens and Gazebo perched above the river wth amazing panoromic views. The village of Newcastleton is a 5 minutes walk with a range of shops and places to eat. Also a garage and fuel station. The local historical landmark is Hermitage Castle with Hadrian's Wall an hours drive away. Kielder Water and Kielder Observatory are 30 minutes away attracting cyclists , walkers and star gazers.
