Property information

The Bridge House is an independently owned, grade 2 listed Georgian Town House built in 1768 full of character and quirky charm, running as a b & b. Sitting on the river Asker offering beautiful river walks yet only a 2 minute walk into town with its independent shops, restaurants, bars & vintage Quarter selling everything vintage from furniture to clothes. Market days are Wednesdays & Saturdays. The nearest beach at West Bay is 1.8 miles away and is easily reached by car or cycling/walking along the cycle path. Bridport is an ideal base for exploring the Jurassic coast and is an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All 10 guest rooms are individually styled and have en-suite facilities and free Wi-Fi. The Guest Lounge offers a quiet place to sit and enjoy the fire on a chilly day. Our private walled garden, home to The Potting Shed Bar and Kitchen, with blankets, heaters, offers the perfect spot for warmer days. The Basement Bar is an ideal place to meet friends, enjoy our local beers, ciders, Pizzas and Burgers. All wines are available by the bottle or glass. W Private car parking when available inc electric charger.

Bridport is a coastal market town of Saxon origin and was the main rope and net producing town in the Country, an industry that is still very much alive today. Independents shops, restaurants and bars with market days on Wednesday and Saturday selling vintage goods, food, local arts & crafts. With beautiful beaches, Rolling countryside, and the Jurassic coast to explore in this area of outstanding natural beauty. There really is something for everyone
