The Fieldhouse is just that, the old field house for our old village school home. The cricket bats and footballs have now been replaced with a ground up remodelled single floor guest house with a home away from home feel. It has a private garden area (not fenced) with outdoor sofa, BBQ, table and chairs. We are happy to accept up to 2 pets 20kg or less. We charge a simple per stay fee. Please ask for the rate when booking.

We are techies originally from California who fell in love with the Norfolk Broads. Not being able to resist a project, we bought an old rural village school on 1/3 acre and have begun the process to remodel it into a family home. When we aren't covered in dust we love to explore the Broads and are happy to share our experiences with guests.

Halvergate is a quiet, rural village on the edge of the Broads National Park, Britain’s largest protected wetland. It is a rich tapestry of landscape, navigable rivers, miles of wildlife walks and cycling; woven together by history. The beautiful city of Norwich is 20 minutes to the west and the Norfolk beaches are 15 minutes to the east. There is a wet Pub 5 minutes walk away from the property and loads of eating and shopping options 10 minutes away in Acle or Reedham.
