Carnforth is the kind of place that everyone has heard of, and many want to discover this hidden gem because it is located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District. It is conveniently located near the northern tip of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, only 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales, and a short hop, skip, and a jump from the Lake District. Greenlands Farm Village is another popular destination in the area, and it features shops selling handmade goods and locally made food, as well as a children's area, a café, and a garden centre. Beautiful Morecambe Bay can be found just to the north of Carnforth, with its expansive tidal sands.
