Directions: Turn into Thomas Bassett Drive, opposite the Post Office in the village centre. Our driveway is immediately left. Look for two pillars with large ball finials either side of our driveway and a “Swallows Eaves” sign on the right hand pillar. Drive across the front of the house and parking is on the left opposite the front porch. Welcome to Swallows Eaves. Built in 1925 as a large luxury family home and having spent nearly 50 years as a popular guest house/boutique hotel, we have now made it our family home. With 5000 square feet of space here, more than we need on a day to day basis, we have decided to make two en suite rooms available for visitors. The rooms are situated on our second floor and are away from our living areas. Staying here is convenient with plenty of free parking within 1/2 an acre of grounds. Gorgeous views of the local area with comfort and privacy await.
We are the Willmott family, welcome to Swallows Eaves, Colyford. During your time here, If you need anything we are happy to help or offer advice, otherwise the house is large enough and your accommodation is on its own floor away from our living space. We hope to offer comfort and privacy with assistance if needed. We look forward to your stay and hope you’re as happy in our home and beautiful village as we are!
Swallows Eaves is situated in the heart of Colyford village, in an AONB and within a Conservation Area. Ample free off road parking makes staying here very convenient. We have two village pubs, a Post Office village shop, a cafe and the famous Seaton tramway which runs from Colyton, the through Colyford and the beautiful wetlands to Seaton. Situated between Sidmouth and Lyme Regis.
