Hinwood was a large family house and no 1 Hinwood was a butchers shop! Converted in the 1980’s.
The cottage was my first own place, it holds fond memories for our whole family. I love the countryside, and also live in Broughton. You’ll meet me as a host, walking my Labrador or riding my horse!
Broughton is super friendly, the neighbours are great. We have a Sports pavilion and two Inns. The Greyhound has great food and is always welcoming, The Tally Ho will open in June 2025 as a community pub and will offer beer and pop up suppers. The Boot Inn, in our neighbouring village, Houghton, is a 4 mile walk across foot paths and the countryside: ending with great food and beverages! What’s not to love 😀 Stockbridge town is the same distance, enjoy the unique independent shops, the town hall, and the bustle.
