Truly beautiful cottage and recently renovated to a high standard. The location is extremely peaceful as the cottage is in the middle of the countryside (you will absolutely need a car).

Herds House was built in the early 1800s and is a listed building. In April 2019 we were delighted to be nominated for the Andrew Llyodd Webber Angel Heritage award. This award formally recognises the achievements and dedication of individuals who show passion and commitment in conserving and restoring local historic buildings. The House was originally built for Herds men tending sheep and cattle on the surrounding estate. We bought the property in 2017 and have been restoring it since. Today it is a cosy home filled with character and charm. Herds house is set on a quiet little road approx 1 mile from the picturesque twin villages of Belcoo and Blacklion
The UNESCO Marble Arch Geopark surrounds the villages of Belcoo and Blacklion. The popular Legnabrocky trail or ' Stairway to Heaven' is a 10 minute drive away. Marble arch caves, Claddagh Glen, The Burren are of similar distance. Florencecourt house and gardens are also close by. The house and gardens are splendid. Great for walking and cycling. Enjoy their house tour . Or simply relax and enjoy a coffee in their beautiful coffee shop. You will never be swamped with crowds of people. Its a magical place to stop and take a breath. Each season bringing its own beauty. A must visit. You wont be disappointed. Enniskillen town is approx. 10 miles away with loads to do and see.
