Myndy is a traditional shepherd's hut with mod-cons. She has underfloor heating, a towel radiator and electric blankets for those unpredictable nights. There are two single beds with top of the range mattresses which can form a double bed on request. The kitchen has a combined Russell Hobbs Air-fryer, grill for toast and oven. There is plenty of storage under the beds and a small chest of draws and side cupboard for storing immediate items. The TV has an integrated DVD player should the occasion warrant it. Myndy is set behind our house up some steps so not easy access for some disabilities. It stands on it's own private terrace with views towards The Caradoc; there are chairs and a table outside the hut for guest use. Smoking is permitted outside the accommodation.
Myndy is a cosy experience- 30 seconds from The Long Mynd with its stunning scenery, plethora of walks and wild ponies and a ten minute walk to Church Stretton centre with its renowned Indian restaurant: The Jaipur; a Thai; fish and chips and a pizza and kebab take away. The King's Arms pub is a traditional black and white building with heavy oak interior, wonderful traditional food and a range of ales and real fires. A variety of individual shops scatter the town and a 3 floor old mill chokka with antiques and bric a brac.
Something for everyone!
