Nestled in the Blackdown Hills, our farm enjoys splendid views across the Otter Valley – off the beaten track yet accessible. Enjoy walks from your doorstep through 150 acres of meadows and ancient woodland. We are 3 miles from the market town of Honiton and the main A30 road. Exeter is a 25-minute drive away. Furnished to a high standard, Orchard Barn is graded 4 Star by Visit England. The Grade II listed flint stone barn has been carefully converted to balance period features with 21st Century convenience. We have recently installed an EV charger for those that have an electric car, there is a small charge per car per week or short stay.. Orchard Barn gets 30-70% of its electricity from a solar aray fixed to a farm pole barn. It is also heated by an air source heat pump.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful corner of Devon. We love meeting new guests and are happy to share lots of advice about local places to go, things to do, the best beaches and places to eat. We are keen walkers and can advise on all the walks through our fields and woods up to Dumpdon Hill as well as coastal path walks.

Orchard Barn is 5 minutes outside the bustling market town of Honiton with many pubs and eateries, Honiton Museum and Thelma Hulbert Gallery. For a special meal, the Pig at Combe is only 10 minutes away. The many beaches along the Jurassic coast (inc Exmouth, Lyme Regis, Beer, Branscombe, Seaton and Sidmouth) are all a 30 minute drive away. The farm sits just below Dumpdon Hill Fort, a National Trust hill fort renowned for its great walks and panoramic views.
