The downstairs living accomodation has been imaginatively designed to maximise the light with a large skylight above the dining area and an opening through to the lounge making this the perfect place for families and friends wishing to spend time together. There is a games room in the garden with a pool table and table tennis table. Adjacent to this room is a separate office with a desk and wifi. There is a pizza oven in the garden although outside dining would be restricted to before 23;00 with respect to the neighbouring homes. Sleeps 6. Pets allowed Very close to the beach. WiFi. West Wittering is situated on the coast 6 miles south of the Cathedral City of Chichester. Chichester has a main line railway station which provides a regular service to London Victoria in about 1 hour 45 minutes and to Gatwick in about 1 hour 5 minutes. An alternative, slightly faster rail service to London is also available via Havant in about 1 hour 20 minutes to London Waterloo. Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton are all easily reached along the coast. The area is well served from Chichester with the A27 (M27) coastal route and A3 to London. About the neighbourhood The Cathedral city of Chichester is one of the most well-preserved Georgian cities in the UK , with its centre sitting within the famous old Roman walls. The arts are well catered for as Chichester is home to the world renowned Festival Theatre and smaller Minerva Theatre and also the Pallant House Art Gallery which is now enjoying a well deserved international reputation for its contemporary art. Annually the city plays host to a number of celebrated music and arts festivals centred around the Cathedral. The waters of the Solent and Chichester Harbour are particularly popular with sailors. The harbour is made up of a series of tidal creeks and is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with wonderful walks while Chichester Marina, Birdham Pool and Itchenor Sailing Club provide the nearest sailing facilities.
