Located directly opposite Elgin train station. A property originally built for a whisky baron with a modern update

Property information

The Royal Hotel is situated in Elgin town centre, less than 200 metres yards from the train station. Guests can benefit from free Wi-Fi as well as the free parking in the ample car park. The Royal features individual and unique rooms. They all include a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom; some rooms have a bath and shower available. In the restaurant the menu offers our popular favourites and also more modern cuisine. We take great pride in being able to offer something for everyone, we do our best to meet customer preferences and requirements. We also have an extensive wine list and an ever-growing choice of malt whiskies. Guests can enjoy Illy coffee and lunchtime snacks in the restaurant or lounge bar. If you are making your way to us for a well earned break we will be happy to advise you of local tourist attractions and experiences. Likewise if you are staying on business we have the facilities to make sure your stay is productive including free wifi and meeting spaces if necessary.

Within Elgin there are many interesting places to visit: Elgin Cathedral and the Elgin Pillar Pictish standing stone: Elgin Museum, one of Britain's oldest museums: Moray Motor Museum.
