The decor is absolutely fantastic and the pub area is exactly what you want from an inn on an island! Ignore the other reviews all the staff are helpful and pleasant. The rooms are clean and spacious and I can only assume the negative reviews are...

Good pub, location is ideal, short walk to the castle and centre. Busy when the tide is out but you have the place to yourself when the tide is in.
