We are pleased to introduce you to Blue, a traditional two-storey house from the 1950s that has been fully renovated in 2023 to reflect the Scopelian architecture, the style, and the colours of the Aegean islands.
The house is spacious and well-appointed. On the ground floor, you'll find the living room and the kitchen. The highlight of the living room is the preserved traditional furnace, while the furniture takes you back in time. The sofa can also be used as a bed for one person. In the room, you'll find a 42" 4K TV with Disney+ and Netflix, a record player, and a Bluetooth speaker.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you may need for meal preparation.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION 1: There are no markets in the village, so please ensure that you buy everything you need from the nearby villages (Glossa, Elios, or Skopelos) before returning home.
The toilet consists of two spaces - the main room and the shower. The washing machine is located in the WC.
Upstairs, you'll find the bedroom and a secondary living room.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION 2: There is no door between the two spaces, so please consider this in terms of privacy. The house is ideal for couples, friends, or small families.
The foldable sofa (consisting of cushions and anatomic mattress) can accommodate two persons. The library has various books (including children's) that you're welcome to borrow during your stay.
The double bed (190Χ140) in the bedroom has a new anatomic mattress. In the room, there is a wardrobe, and you'll also find a 55" 4K TV with Disney+ and Netflix.
Enjoy your breakfast or a night drink on the balcony, where you can take in the sea view (including Skiathos and Evia).
There is no private garden, but you can use the alley space to have lunch, dinner, or drinks with friends, as the locals used to do due to the absence of cars.
Hi, my name is Kostas and I am a civil engineer with a passion for house renovations. I fell in love with Skopelos at first sight and this house has been a dream come true for me. I am excited to share it with you and hope that you will create unforgettable memories here.
I want you to feel at home in this house and enjoy your stay as much as possible. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any requests or suggestions for improvement during your stay.
Thank you in advance for choosing to stay in my house.
Klima, also known as Old Klima, is the sole settlement in Skopelos that has preserved its traditional style. The village does not have a road network, only alleys.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION 3: !!! The parking lo (free of charge) is located 350 meters away from the house. Please refer to the pictures for further clarification. However, you are allowed to enter the village in order to unload your luggage as close to the house as possible, which is approximately 30 meters away. Please be aware that the alley leading to the house is quite narrow and only has one lane, so please drive carefully. Once you have unloaded your luggage, please return your car to the designated parking area.
This village is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of the island's tourist activities. However, please note that there are no markets or stores in the village, so be sure to purchase everything you need from the nearby villages.
The locals are always hospitable and enjoy spending time with friends on their balconies and in their gardens.
Although the house you may be staying in does not have a private garden, the absence of cars allows the use of the alley for spending time outside.
The benefits of the settlement include its tranquility, slow pace, and traditional way of living. Additionally, it is conveniently located near the most beautiful beaches on the island, such as Milia, Kastani, Armenopetra, Perivoliou, Chovolo, and Panormos, as well as the iconic chapel of St. John, which made Skopelos famous worldwide.
However, it is worth noting that the village's downside is the absence of markets.
