The name of the House is "Kipo" which means "garden" in Greek. The House . was fully renovated in 2014 with the objective of preserving its original character and authenticity. . is built around a walled garden with various fruit trees and grapevines . includes a living room, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 bedroom (2 single beds), 1 family room/transversal, passage room (1 bed), 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen. . baby bed, hairdryer are available upon request at no charge . Radio with CD player is provided Your stay will enable you to relax, enjoy life of a Greek village and to discover Samos island : Beaches Ancient Greek ruins Pythagorio, a Unesco world heritage harbour Monastries Hills and mountains are just minutes away.
For over 40 years, I have been in love with Samos. To give you the opportunity to discover this beauty spot, I am pleased to invite you to stay in my home on a self-catering basis. The house is located 3km away from the sea in Samos former capital.
The house is located in Chora on the Southern coast of Samos: . 2 kms from the coast and numerous kilometer long and cove-style beaches . 3 kms from Pythagorio, the birth place of the renowned mathematician Pythagoras, that has remained a historical and lively port village famous for its restaurants, bars, boutiques, shops, Church, Old Castle, Ancient Ruins, Museum, Art Galleries… . its location allows you to discover all facets of Samos. Although Chora offers grocery stores, a bakery, a pharmacy, tavernas, bars and a taxi stand, we encourage guests to rent a car to fully sample what Samos offers. We also can recommend selected rental car agencies. The island of Samos has a lot to offer to visitors . Natural beauty 475 sq. of beaches, mountains, pineforests, olive groves, vineyards, villages on the hillsides and wildflowers blooming everywhere in Spring. . Local products Wines, honey, olives, oranges & plenty more to discover along the footpaths. . Fauna Dolphins, turtles, seals and even whales are present in Samos clear waters. . Historical interest With the memory of famous figures & classicals remains: Pythagoras, Aristarchus, Hera's temple or Eufpalinos tunnel.
