Hello,I am Verena and I will be your host! I enjoy meeting new people and will do my best to make our guests have a great stay in our beautiful town. On your arrival you will be welcomed by me or my good friend, we will provide you with the information you need and give you your own keys. We live close by and if you need anything we shall be at hand. If you don´t need us - we will not bother you :)

Verena's Place old town are comfortable rooms decorated with love! Verena's Place are family runned business so you can count on the warm welcome and insider tips. Both rooms have a private entrance, and en-suit bathrooms. The rooms are on the 1st floor of residential a building in the heart of the old town of Zadar. Verena's Place is an guest house, so there is no daily cleaning service but we will provide fresh towels every 3 days and a fresh bed linen every week. Of course you can contact us for any extra needs! We will be very happy to welcome you!

Neighbourhood information

Verena's Place is situated on the Zadar peninsula and in the very heart of the old town! Around the building and just few steps away are many different bars and restaurants, the grocery shops, newspaper and tobacco kiosks, bakeries, ATM machines, fast foods, shops, souvenir shops and travel agencies. We will be happy to make reccomendations if you choose so! You can refresh yourself by diving into the sea from the beautiful Zadar Riva (sea front promenade) - 1 minute walk from Verena's Place, or enjoy sunbathing near the famous Sea Organ and The Greeting to the Sun. A 10-15 minute walk by the sea will bring you to the beautiful beach of Kolovare. If you are a bit braver, you can try diving from 10 meters high diving tower and if not - you can play beach volleyball or just relax and enjoy the sun, sea, good music, drinks or ice cream. Zadar is 3000 year old city and on every corner of the old town you can find traces of its ancient history including the remains of the Roman town centre that are still one of the favorite meeting points in the peninsula. Here you can sit on one of the nice bar terraces and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets, for which Zadar has world fame.
