Welcome to our beautiful Villa Alegra, place you'll feel like home. Mediterranean surroundings, stone walls of the property and lovely garden will make your stay pleasant and joyful. Built with love and care, Villa Alegra offers quite and peaceful vacation for large families as for couples and smaller groups. Villa Alegra will be completely yours during that precious time of the year - your vacation, so you can enjoy and personalize your stay. We are expecting you!
We are family of 5 + other members, who occasionally can come and welcome you at your arrival. Be sure, whoever is there to meet you and greet you, you'll be treated with a warm hospitality we are known for. :) Some of us are dreamers and you can ask us anything about your stay and opportunities to have an adventurous vacation. Others are great talkers and someone you'll want to show you more about the history of the place and surroundings. And for you who just want to discover everything by yourself, we will keep quite and never spoil the fun of it for you. Whatever you like and wherever you come from, you are welcome in our house, where we always want you to feel at home.
Whole village is embroidered in Biokovo Mountain, and is located above Podgora, small, typical Adriatic coast town in Makarska Riviera. This is a place of peace and quiet, long walks between old and renovated houses, who still speak about past times of Mediterranean. Smell of herbs and natural sounds are something you will take with you from our Villa Alegra, always to remember. If you come in last week of August, you will have an opportunity to take part in celebration of St Vicencije, special event where citizens from the whole region and our guests take part and enjoy ancient customs, delicious meals and famous wine.
