Dating back to circa 1780 Bealkelly Country House B&B is a tastefully restored Georgian residence overlooking Holy Island and Lough Derg. It is a ten minute drive from the picturesque twin towns of Killaloe/Ballina. Bealkelly Country House is an ideal base to explore the beautiful Southwest. Guests can avail of the property's on-site shuttle service which provides transportation to and from all local hotels and hostelries. Our three brand new Suites offer a superior level of comfort with King and Super-King beds wardrobe, flat screen tv, desk and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Full Irish breakfast at Bealkelly Country House, homemade bread and preserves. Vegetarian breakfasts are also available, along with cereals, cold meats and cheeses. Lough Derg and its surrounds offers excellent fishing, walking and hill-climbing opportunities. Killaloe/Ballina and Tuamgraney/Scarriff and Ogonnelloe offer an excellent variety of pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. The “Jewel of Lough Derg” Holy Island a UNESCO world heritage site is nearby and boat trips to visit it are available locally.
