Cute cabin. Feel secluded in your own area. A lovely place to enjoy the outdoor patio when the weather is good. A few goodies were provided which was a nice touch.

The cabin was cozy and quiet! The place was clean and we had everything we needed. We had a great nights sleep and brought food so we didn’t have to leave

It was a beautiful cabin, and the manager Michele was lovely! The beds were comfortable and she even left us a little breakfast station with coffee. Would definitely recommend 🙃

This place was ADORABLE! Even cuter and much more beautifully situated than I'd expected! The location was idyllic--both my mother and I would have loved to stay longer!! And Michelle was extremely kind. Yay piggies!

Did not know what to expect but this cabin was one of our favorites during our drive up the Wild Atlantic Way, and we wish we would have stayed longer in Co. Sligo here

Location in the countryside near the Carrowkeel burial tombs. Appreciated that there was emphasis on recycling.

It was a welcomed me relief from guesthouses or hotels. A tiny, cozy cabin in the Irish countryside. We were delighted that it rained all night and had the patter on the roof. Michelle was very communicative and helpful.

Perfect for an absolute break from the hustle and bustle our cabin is located in a beautiful scenic and secluded area surrounded by trees and wildlife close to the Bricklieve mountains and the Carrowkeel megalithic tombs. We are approx 1 mile from the main N4 Dublin to Sligo road. There are many walking routes in the area and other activities within a 30 to 40 minute drive. It is approx. 20 mins drive to Sligo town and 2.5 hrs from Dublin. The nearest takeaway is in Riverstown a 10 min drive or Boyle about the same time away. The nearest petrol station is in Collooney 10 to 15 min drive or Boyle. Facilities include tea and coffee, a toaster and a mini fridge, shower and toilet. We have deliberately not installed wifi, TV or radio to preserve the integrity of the experience. There is a good phone signal so you should have no problems accessing your devices data. It's lovely to sit out on the covered porch watching the sun go down and listening to the birds saying goodnight. Depending on the time of year you can help yourself to strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, rhubarb or gooseberries.
We love having people come to stay and experience the views and scenery we see every day. It is a great base to explore Sligo and the North West from with loads to do and see. Our family enjoy meeting new people and hearing about other cultures and countries from our guests. Having said that the cabin is far enough away and close enough that if guests want to interact with us then we enjoy that but we also respect our guests privacy. Our dogs will often pop down to say Hi and finish off your left over barbeque!
The megalithic tombs and Donkey Sanctuary are right behind us, a steady walk or a tiny drive. A small bit further are the Caves of Keash which you can see from the cabin window. If you drive more than 10 mins you come to Boyle and Lough key Forest Park. Going the other way towards Sligo town there are many places to see and activities to do. Check out any Sligo websites for more info.
