This unique one-bedroom house was once the gate lodge of the Vernon Estate, and it's in an amazing location, right on the promenade in prestigious Clontarf. Built in 1840, it is steeped in history and is a magical place to stay with a sun trap garden over looking the sea. This is a gem of a place and the perfect place to stay. Walk to the Wooden Bridge, Bull Wall, Dollymount Beach and St. Anne's Park. There is gorgeous restaurants / bars within walking distance. Please ask for more info!
Clontarf, located along Dublin’s picturesque coastline, is a charming suburb known for its blend of natural beauty, history, and vibrant community life. It boasts stunning sea views, with the iconic wooden bridge leading to Bull Island, a UNESCO biosphere reserve perfect for walks and birdwatching. Clontarf is steeped in history, famously linked to the 1014 Battle of Clontarf led by Brian Boru. The neighborhood features a mix of period homes and modern amenities, with excellent restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops. Its promenade is popular for cycling and jogging, making Clontarf a sought-after area for both tranquility and active lifestyles.
