It’s right on a small river with a swimming hole, free use of kayaks, 5 min walk to pubs, and fresh baked scones and croissants for breakfast!!! What more could one ask for? Kind, friendly and informative hosts? Yes that too!

What's around? Well just walking around the little village or standing on a shore, will give you beautiful views. For long walks in nature, by the river and around the meadow, there is the Glengarriff forest with its beautiful walking trails. If you like hiking, there is a Lady Bantry's Lookout. In good weather, there is a stunning view of Glengarriff and west Cork area. Beside natural flora you can find some exotic plants too. There is and Bamboo park in the village. The Most exciting attraction and a whole day experience is also Garnish Island. The island has been turned into a huge garden with plants from all over the world. To get to this little jewel, you have to take a short boat ride. If you are lucky, on your way, you'll see some seals laying around. If you are not tired after all above there is music in local pubs. Tasty food and a pint of beer should sum up the day perfectly. Many other things are just a short ride away. Come, enjoy and explore.
