The Granary Apartments are a recently renovated farm granary dating back to the mid 1800’s beautifully coverted into 2 self-catering apartments. The Granary sits close to Lough Key Forest & Activity Park and between Ireland’s hidden Heartlands, the Wild Atlantic Way & Irelands Ancient East. The Granary is in the perfect location to Ireland in all its glory. The apartments, aptly named The Byre & The Loft which reflect its history, are located just 5km from the famous Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa wedding venue, 8km from bustling Carrick on Shannon & just a short car journey from Rosses Point, Strandhill & Streedagh beaches. Knock airport is 56km away. Surrounded by excellent fishing lakes, such as Lough Arrow which boasts excellent Mayfly fishing as well as Lough Allen. The property is also situated along the famous Miners Way & Historical Trail, with the Arigna Mining experience 10km away. The famous Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin distillery is just 9km away, with a number of high quality restaurents less that 2km from the property, namely the Waterfront Restaurant, The Moorings & Tara Marina Italian with other great options available in both Carrick on Shannon & Boyle. The Space Both the The Loft & The Byre boast a cosy feel, with comfortable couches, dining table for 2, a fully equipped kitchenette, central heating, flat screen TV’s with streaming services as well as Wi-Fi. Both apartments have a large double bed with a private bathroom & large power shower. Towels are provided, with extra available on request The Granary Apartments are located next door to the renowned local pub, Clancy’s Bar. They are also serviced by an excellent taxi/hackney service.
