The Mjoeyri travel service is a small family business, owned and operated by the married couple Saevar Gudjonson and Berglind Ingvarsdottir. We try our utmost to ensure that your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible

Property information

The original house was built in 1885. It has been renovated, updated, and newly decorated, and now it bears the mark of the old and the new times. We put our efforts into creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the Guesthouse there is an excellent view of the fjord and the town of Eskifjordur. Breakfast and dinner are available upon advance notice. We offer accommodations in four bedrooms; single and double. Our guests have access to a comfortable living room with a TV and reading area with books and magazines, as well as an area with a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom is shared. All the bedrooms have their own TV, CD, radio and internet access. In back of the Guesthouse is a large closed in deck with grilling facilities. Off the deck is the breakfast room. All the indoor areas are nonsmoking.

Neighbourhood information

The Guesthouse is located on a beautiful and peaceful peninsula in Eskifjordur. The location is ideal for taking short trips around the Eastfjords during the day and coming back for a good nights rest in the evening.
