Fattoria Santo Stefano is distinguished by its wonderful location surrounded by forests of oak and cypress trees . From the gardens you can enjoy breathtaking views when the summer sunsets offer a pleasant charm the eye , to the peaks of the Apennines , clearly visible on a clear day . The facilities of this small private village are old and date back to the late 1800s , back when the Ricasoli family had yet most of these lands .
Hello! We are a family of six siblings , and we run our winery since 1961 when our father bought the whole estate . Me Elena , my brother Agostino , and my niece Irene, and all the staff, we are happy to welcome you and share with you our story, during a visit of our cellar , taste our culinary food cooked in the old fashioned way typical traditional, having some confrontation during tastings of our wines of our farm.
The Chianti is famous worldwide for the production of his great Tuscan wines , recognized as Chianti Classico DOCG , and the hilly landscape , extremely varied and distinctive at the same time . The vegetation is very rich and typical of the area , with cypress trees , olive groves and vineyards . Also there are museums along the route of the old Roman road, now called SS222 between Florence and Siena, and are easily reachable for day trips .
