The historical house is located above the center of Varenna. Varenna is located directly on the lake and so you have both: the beautiful town Varenna and the refreshing water of Lake Como only a few minutes by car or about 20 minutes on foot. Your accommodation is located in the historic center of Vezio, 5 minutes from the public car park and near the Vezio Castle. The ground floor consists of: kitchen and living room with bunk bed, and fireplace. On the second floor there is a spacious bathroom with shower, bathtub and washing machine. You will also find a spacious double room. The Old barn renovated in the 90s with a special charm of the vaulted room with exposed stones. Enjoy discovering the fascinating region of Como Lake.
I am a lover of nature, tranquility and peace. I like meeting people from all over the world, being able to speak English, German and French. I like all the manual work, gardening and horticulture. I like music, I like dancing and also meditation.
Quiet, small village above the lake - away from traffic and surrounded by calming nature and "green" as far as you can see. Vezio Castle and a lot of panoramic points of the lake can be reached on foot in 3 minutes. The Sentiero del Viandante is also “right on your doorstep”. If you don't want to cook yourself, we have 2 very good local restaurants in Vezio which you can walk to in 1 minute. Grocery stores can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The traditional pottery shop RAKU - with his handcraft tricks - is also only 1 minute away. Varenna Esino train station is 15 minutes on foot or 8 minutes by car. You can easily reach the main towns and villages of Lake Como (Lecco, Colico, Lierna, Dervio) by train. Boat and ferry from Varenna to the most famous villages overlooking Lake Como (Bellagio, Menaggio, Cadenabbia, Como) 70 km by car from Milan and 60 km from Bergamo. Possibility of trekking, windsurfing, sailing, taxi boats and beaches or swimming pools in Varenna. Likewise the best restaurants and ice cream parlors.
