Casa del Merlo is a large house in the heart of the Tuscan countryside with private garden, swimming pool for exclusive use and private covered parking. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a small welcome gift. Nearby excellent routes for mountain bikers. It is only 1 km from the village served by many shops (supermarket, restaurant, bar, newsagent, pastry shop, banks, laundry, takeaway pizza, goldsmith's, clothing stores, costume jewelery, flowers, pharmacy, doctors' offices) within walking distance. Upon reservation, one of the best sommeliers in Italy can organize Wine Tours (Montecarlo di Lucca, Bolgheri, Chianti Classico) and / or Wine Tasting at home. Less than 1km away, a Home Restaurant with typical Lucchese-Tuscany cuisine can deliver the requested menu at home.
My name is Simonetta and after 27 years of activity as a florist I decided to turn the page and dedicate myself to the tourist rental, also involving my husband Angelo and my children Ilario and Gabriele. My husband and I take care of the cleaning and maintenance of both the house and the garden and swimming pool. Ilario and Gabriele share computer work. Overall we have become a close-knit and dynamic team!
Convenient to visit: LUCCA (8Km - 10 minutes by car) and GARFAGNANA (50km - 1 hour by car) with its medieval villages and C.A.I. of trekking. MONTECARLO DI LUCCA and COLLODI (16Km - 20 minutes) medieval city famous for its oil and good wine. The beaches of VIAREGGIO and VERSILIA (30Km - 35 minutes by car). PISA (22Km - 30 minutes by car) and VOLTERRA (63Km - 1 hour and 10 minutes). FLORENCE (77Km - 60 minutes by car) treasure chest of art. 5 TERRE (120Km - 1h20 minutes by car) for the small villages overlooking the sea.
