Bed & Breakfast Donna Lina is nestled in the heart of Matera’s Sassi. This 19th-century residence has been beautifully restored, preserving its original cross vaults, and offers guests a delightful stay surrounded by the magical tranquility of the ancient Sassi districts. Located just 100 meters from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the vibrant heart of the city, the property is within walking distance of the Ipogei and other sites of historical and cultural interest. The Bed & Breakfast features three charming rooms, a relaxation area equipped with every comfort, and breakfast served in one of Matera’s historic pastry shops, just steps away from the property. Guests can also enjoy a coffee machine with pods, a kettle with tea and herbal infusions, a cozy space to socialize with other travelers, and a wonderful panoramic terrace—the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the timeless atmosphere of the Sassi. We have chosen not to equip the rooms with televisions, to allow our guests to fully experience the unique charm and serenity of the surroundings. The Bed & Breakfast is located in a limited traffic zone (ZTL), just 300 meters from the nearest parking area. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes to freely explore the beauty of this extraordinary city.
