Located in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, Ascea , is, a perfect synthesis of history, culture and mediterranean sandy beaches. With his charm and outstanding beauty Ascea is considered by many of its visitors one of the Italy’s best -kept secrets. La house is in the heart of the Ascea old town. The long and sandy beach is only 3 Km away.

Villa Santa Sofia is located in Ascea in the heart of Cilento. Ascea beach is one of the most beautiful in Campania. At 10 minutes from the Villa there is one of the most important archaeological areas of ancient Greece, Elea, the home of the Eleatic philosophical school of Parmenides and Zeno. From the Villa you can easily reach Paestum, the Certosa di Padula, the Royal Palace of Caserta (UNESCO heritage sites) and the most beautiful beaches of the Cilento coast: Agropoli, S. Maria di Castellabate, Acciaroli, Marina di Ascea-Velia, Palinuro, Marina di Camerota
