This very apartment served as an office for Latvian Chess Federation until it was transformed into an apartment so You can enjoy a cup of coffee from those chessboard cups on a chessboard floor while playing chess :) The building itself is an example of late Art Nouveau, with neoclassical decors used in its decorative design. The facade is decorated with decorative reliefs with medallions. The upper floor of the building is accented by pilasters, whose capitals use Egyptian motifs.

There is a Riga City Tour "Hop-on Hop-off" bus stop 200m away at Strēlnieku square. There are also 5 tram lines, 2 trolleybus lines and 16 bus lines 300m away from apartment, which can take you to any part of Riga.
