About this property

Set in the Motueka area and within 15 minutes driving of Kaiteriteri beach, Terraced Chalets offers accommodation with views of Riwaka Valley. Free Wi-Fi is available in each chalet. The rooms at Terraced Chalets feature a queen bed , sofa bed , kitchenette equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and a cozy dining area. Crockery and cooking appliances are provided. Each chalet has flat-screen satellite TV and a private balcony. The chalets are fully insulated with double glazing and thermal backed curtains. Each is fully air conditioned and comes with heat pumps. Free private parking is available on site. The Nelson’s wineries are a 30 minute drive along the coast. The Abel Tasman National Park, famous for coastal walks, water taxi trips, kayaking & swimming with seals is a scenic 10-minute drive away.

Our Chalets are our slice of paradise- tucked away on the hill allowing peace and quiet; whilst also being close enough to access all the Abel Tasman has to offer. With views of the Riwaka Valley, Takaka Hill, the ocean and many vineyards and orchards, our Chalets have something for everyone. Each Chalet is set apart to give a feeling of being in your own space, and guests can walk in the gardens, enjoy a BBQ, sit at the picnic table and enjoy a glass of wine and children can play on the surrounding lawns.
We're Jane & John- proud owners of Terraced Chalets. After having grown up in Motueka and spending countless holidays in Nelson and Golden Bay over the past 30 years, we've moved up from Christchurch to this little slice of paradise, with our dog Izzy in tow. We absolutely love the Tasman area, and want to share it with everyone. Because we have spent so much time around here (and now live amongst it), we know the best places to walk, sight-see, eat, shop and relax. Welcome to Riwaka! The location of our Chalets means you can get the best of both worlds. It is a quiet and peaceful place to relax, but is also close to some of the best places this region has to offer. Kaiteriteri Beach and the Abel Tasman National Park are just a 15 minute drive away, and the Riwaka township has a petrol station, cafes, craft beer tastings, pie shops and fresh fruit ice-creams, and the famous Riwaka Pub all just 5 minutes down the road. Motueka township is a 10 minute drive away; providing supermarkets, shops, eateries and pubs as well.
