Property information

The perfect place for romance, private and modern with spectacular, north facing views across Oneroa Bay and all the way to Coromandel! Cable Bay Vineyard is just across the road and the acclaimed Sculpture on the Gulf walkway is on your doorstep. Church Bay Escape has three purpose-built apartments that have been created to offer couples the best in comfort, with privacy and views front of design. They are self-contained, well equipped for self-catering and each has a split King bed, lounge area and separate balcony. Privacy has been enhanced with subtle window frosting. Here you can unwind, away from the madding crowds and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the seascape. Everything you need is within reach. A 12 minute stroll will take you to the iconic Mudbrick restaurant often described as the 'most romantic place on earth'. The walk into Oneroa village is an easy 10 minute amble: there you can enjoy not only the white sands of Oneroa beach but also indulge in the many eateries, restaurants and galleries as well as the numerous shops and entertainment venues.

Neighbourhood information

Vineyards, bush walks, beaches, fantastic cafes, restaurants and brew pub. Virtually no crime and great weather! Close-by attractions: 10 min walk to Oneroa village with a variety of shops, banks, the post office, gas station, Information centre, cafes, restaurant. The village also includes various Art Centres a Four Square superette, Fruit & Veg shop and 2 liquor stores. The long white sands of Oneroa Beach are easily accessed along with free bbq facilities. Only a 5 minute drive to the passenger ferry located at Matiatia and approximately 10 minutes to the car ferry located at Kennedy Point.
