Ann & Blyth have been in the hospitality business for a number of years and run the award winning Waiorau Homestead Luxury B&B on the premises. Dinners are available on request from resident chef, Blyth. We have hosted some thousands of guests since 2008 and have been awarded Trip Advisors' top 3 places in Wanaka for over 12 years.

Property information

Beautiful rural property, set on 10 acres with mature tress and stream boundary. All season accommodation. 3 luxury rooms and self contanined studio. Guest lounge and guest dining room ( Homestead guests only). Dinners on request from resident chef. Hot tob, petanque courst, outside fire, swimming pool (summer only).

Winter - Waiorau Homestead is the closest accomodation to Cardrona Ski Resort and Snow Farm cross country skiing. It is 20 mins to Treble Cone ski area (Wanaka) and 40 mins to the 2 Queenstown ski fields - The Remarkables & Coronet Peak. Spring/ Summer - access to hiking tracks, inclding the Meg Pack Track - Cardrona to Roaring Meg - 7 hours walk. Meg Hut - 1.5 hours from Homestead. World renowned Cardrona Distillery, horse riding and quad bikes, all adjacent to the property. Iconic Cardrona Hotel - 2kms from Homestead. Numerous wineries, water activites and biking tracks - 20 munites drive to Wanaka. Historic Arrowtown - 30 minutes drive.
