It is a 10-minute drive to Virginia Lake Reserve and a 20-minute drive to Kai Iwi Beach. You can hire a kayak to explore the Whanganui River, or enjoy a picnic on the riverbanks. There are trampolines for children and an outdoor BBQ area. Guest laundry facilities are available. Company information

The only place in Wanganui where you can hire a kayak and get out on the mighty Whanganui River. Whanganui is also the only town where an original paddle steamer riverboat will take you on a trip up river to learn about the history of our wonderful region.

Property information

The only holiday park with direct access to the Whanganui River. Family friendly with loads for the children and adults to do. Take a dip in the heated pool (seasonal), bounce on the jumping pillow or hire a kayak and explore the river.

Neighbourhood information

Whanganui has a rich and plentiful history. One of the oldest settled towns in New Zealand, we have some of the most amazing architecture from Victorian and Edwardian days, plus tons of local maori history from the iwi of the Whanganui River.
