A beautiful family home originally extended for family use has been lovingly updated and separated to be used as 3 separate apartments.
When we relocated to Poland from England, we fell in love with the property's character and location and realised it soon suited our needs plus provided us with the business we dreamed about.
When you open a window or sit in the garden you can enjoy the wind in the trees and the sound of the stream which is running right at the back of our house. The road is peaceful as it's only for residents and you instantly feel relaxed.
The house has three apartments; we occupy one, and the other two are available to rent, Mokra and Sucha.
Mokra is a newly updated and renovated apartment. It has its own private entrance and a lovely terrace with great views. This is our smaller apartment and although it can sleep up to 8 people there is only one bedroom plus one living room for sleeping and is 45 sq. metres.
Sucha is the upstairs apartment from ours and has the best character, open fire and amazing views of the stream from the master bedroom and dining area, it's a very roomy 90 sq. metres and you can easily accommodate 6 adults and 3 children without a problem.
We have not updated the bathroom or kitchen fully and therefore some parts are more traditional, we will be updating this apartment as part of our plans over the next few years.
We live here with our boys and dog Lola, and she will be around most of the time.
We have a very spacious garden with BBQ facilities, seating areas as well as a sandpit, swing and slide for our younger guests.
Access to the stream and the fire-pit is through the gate and down a few steps, when you are by the fire-pit you are encapsulated with the forest and stream, giving you a feeling of camping! (knowing that a toilet and comfortable bed are minutes away it's a win-win)
Hey, we are Marcin and Paula!
We met in England way back in 2000 and have been driving each other crazy ever since.
We have three children (one lives in England still) and a dog 'Lola'
After living in England for too long, we decided that as one had been a foreigner, let's make the move and turn the tables!
We love walking and have explored some nearby routes, including the black route to Magurka (as it's right outside our door!)
We love local cuisine and have eaten in a lot of places in Sucha Beskidzka and Zawoja (a lovely village 20 minutes away)
We have access to the stream from our property and enjoy spending warm evenings there with the boys and the dog, cooking sausages on the open fire and letting the children play.
We speak Polish and English and are always happy to chat.
There is nothing we enjoy more than seeing you and your family having fun and taking advantage of all our facilities. When we see the children running around and playing we are so happy, as parents ourselves we understand that happy children make your stay more enjoyable.
For those who do not enjoy playing outside or with the toys we have supplied in the apartments we have ensured you have good WiFi.
We do not welcome pets, Lola (our dog) has decided that she doesn't like to share the attention!
If you choose not to travel by car to us, we can provide transfers to and from the airport or train stations as well as additional day trips to Auschwitz, Wieliczka and other attractions - there is an additional cost and must be agreed in advance, you can message us or submit a request form on our website.
We love being out and about so you may find that during your stay you may not see us, but we are always contactable via Whats-app if you have a question.
Beskidzka Apartments is on a quiet residential road, the road has no through traffic meaning it's very quiet! The apartments back onto the forest and with the stream you have an instant escape to nature.
The main Sucha Beskidzka town is 3km - a walk through the forest or down our road, driving is a few minutes, however if you choose to walk it will take about 30/40 minutes.
The town has many restaurants, the Castle and other tourist attractions - these can all be seen on our website to help you make the most of your stay with us.
Within an hour's drive you can access Krakow and Zator where there are a few theme parks!
Sucha Beskidzka train station has regular Intercity trains that provide quick and hassle free trips to Zakopane (1.15hr) and also Krakow (50 min) as well as Warsaw and Gdansk (without changing trains!) so getting around Poland and visiting other places while staying with us is very easy.
Our neighbours are very lovely and being on a quiet road means that everyone knows each other. The local minibus that runs up and down our road generally will stop outside our apartments for our guests instead of going to the nearest stop (if you tell him you are coming here) and on the odd occasion our neighbours have offered lifts to our guests walking up and down our road if they are passing!
Being on the black walking route for Magurka you will see people walking up and down our road, why not go for a walk, where we are situated you have a 3km head start as the black walking route starts at the train station.
If you do not wish to venture that far, we do suggest walking to the top of the road, the views up there are amazing, the residents of Zasypnica will often be found there having BBQs or celebrating new year... When the view is that good, why not!
During the winter months, there are ski slopes that are within a 30 minute drive, so on ski days it’s quick to get to but on the days you choose not to ski you are away from the tourist areas and can relax
