Refugio das Origens is only 1h15 from Lisboa and 52km from Costa Vicentina. Here you can harvest vegetables, remember grandparents 'time picking chickens' eggs and relax watching a good sunset on a hammock! How about meditating under a hundred-year-old cork oak? Take a swim in the pool, enjoy a good meal and drink a good wine in the warm fireplace? We have several animals: a couple of Donkeys, Goats, Chickens,... You can fish in the River Sado, observe bird species (kestrels, birds, birds of prey, storks, thrushes, pigeons, among others), visit the Lousal Mines or the largest olive oil mill in the Iberian Peninsula.
